Boy With Cerebral Palsy Inspires in Triathlon Finish

Bailey Matthews was determined to finish without his walker

His name is Bailey Matthews. He's an 8-year-old boy in UK who has cerebral palsy, and images of him completing a triathlon have gone viral, reports CBS News and Today.com. Bailey ditched his walker near the finish line and got there on his own, despite falling twice. The Doncaster boy finished a 100-meter swim, a 4,000-meter bike ride, and a 1,300-meter run. "Bailey has always been very determined," his mom explains. "If he wants to do something he will find a way to do it, even if it is not the conventional way." (Read more uplifting news stories.)
