Mother of three Jessica Valenzuela was walking the Las Vegas Strip with her husband—the pair had recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary—when police say Lakeisha Holloway's car slammed into the crowd, killing her, per the Arizona Republic. Family members describe the 32-year-old from Buckeye, Ariz., as a "fantastic stay-at-home mother" who had started attending Bible study classes at church, having moved from Colorado in July. "I only met her a couple of months ago, but she was definitely faithful once she started coming, and I knew she was a believer," the First Southern Baptist Church's pastor tells NBC News. "She seemed to be a very sweet lady."

"There are absolutely no words to express how devastating and shocking this loss is. She will be missed dearly, and that couldn't be more of an understatement," Valenzuela's brother writes on Facebook. He tells KUSA that his sister "had a dorky personality and sense of humor and was loved by everyone she came in contact with." An autopsy to determine a cause of death was scheduled for Monday, though the results have not been released. A GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral expenses has raised more than $34,000. Meanwhile, Holloway has been charged with murder. (Read Holloway's account of the incident, according to police.)
