A strange political footnote to the election year: Hillary Clinton defeated Bernie Sanders Tuesday night in Clinton County, Kentucky. This tidbit is making headlines because prior to Tuesday, Sanders had been eight for eight in previous Clinton County races in other states. For the record, per CNN, they were in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania. "Her long national nightmare is over," declares Mother Jones. With all the Clinton County races in the books, all eyes now to turn to the race in Sanders County, Montana, on June 7. (More Hillary Clinton 2016 stories.)
