Cops: Man Takes Unique Approach to Illegal 'Date'
Adam Dimond.   (Davis County Jail)

Not brilliant: A Utah man allegedly took a homemade consent form to a rendezvous for underage sex, KSL.com reports. Adam Dimond, 31, was collared in November and charged with enticing a minor after police say showed up at a meeting for sex with a 13-year-old girl. But unwittingly he had been texting with an FBI agent who set up the arrest, per the Standard-Examiner. "In his car was a document that he made that was a consent to have sex form," says a police report. Dimond apparently admitted that he believed he'd been texting with a 13-year-old on the app Whisper and "thought about engaging in sexual acts with her." (A 3D-gun advocate has been jailed on similar charges.)
