(Newser) – Already thinking ahead on where you want to kick back once you stop punching a time clock for good? WalletHub scrutinized more than 180 US cities to suss out which ones seem most appealing for retirees, looking at nearly four dozen key metrics across four categories: affordability (including cost of living and taxes), health care such as home-care facilities and geriatric hospitals, activities (e.g., museums, theaters, golf courses, and yes, bingo venues), and quality of life, including the weather, air quality, and crime rate. Here, the top 10 cities to consider for your golden years:

  1. Orlando, Fla.
  2. Tampa, Fla.
  3. Scottsdale, Ariz.
  4. Charleston, SC
  5. Miami, Fla.
  6. Denver, Co.
  7. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
  8. Cape Coral, Fla.
  9. Minneapolis, Minn.
  10. Cheyenne, Wyo.
Read on for the cities that don't look as retiree-friendly.
