CNN anchor rips McCain's 'delicate flower' treatment

Another rant on sexism has political bloggers buzzing today, Mark Silva notes in the Swamp. Only in this one, CNN’s Campbell Brown lays into the McCain campaign for clamping “chauvinistic chains” on Sarah Palin by not letting her take questions from the media as other candidates do.

“This woman is from Alaska, for crying out loud,” Brown said last night, after protests from the press forced the Republican campaign to let reporters into Palin’s meetings with world figures in New York. “She is strong. She is tough. She is confident. And you claim she's ready to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. If that is the case, then end this chauvinistic treatment of her now.”
