India Cans Pakistan Cricket Trip

Government officials have canceled the Indian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan, the Times of India reports, terming the trip unsafe and inappropriate in the aftermath of the Mumbai terrorist attacks for which it holds a Pakistan-based group responsible. “The government has declined permission to go ahead with the tour taking into account the recent developments in Mumbai as well as the overall circumstances prevailing at present,” an official says.
