A British court found a young knife enthusiast guilty today of murdering an actor from the next Harry Potter film, the Guardian reports. Karl Bishop, 22, stabbed the 18-year-old actor Rob Knox five times with a pair of kitchen knives last May, as Knox tried to protect his brother Jamie outside a London bar. Knox played Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

“This man carries knives like others carry pens in their pockets and quite happily thinks little or nothing of stabbing others as if it were some occupational hazard,” the prosecution said. A police officer testified that when Bishop heard that Knox had died, he replied, “Yeah, sweet.” Bishop told the court he’d been angry and “wasn’t really thinking straight.” He will hear his sentence tomorrow.
