Broke Up Recently? Museum Wants the Remnants
When love ends, don't wallow in bed. Send your memories to a new museum, suggests BlackBook.   (©pg ~)

Not sure what to do with all those old love letters from your ex? Burning them seems too risky; keeping them, too sentimental. Why not put them on permanent display? The Museum of Broken Relationships allows you to do just that, BlackBook reports. Started as an art project in Croatia, the exhibit’s popularity led its creators to bring it online and on the road.

Creators Olinka Vištica and Drazen Grubiši call their museum “a chance to overcome the emotional collapse through creation,” and they welcome remnants of lost love from anyone. So far, the anonymous submissions have included not just pictures and letters, but a leg prosthesis and a gall stone. If that’s not cathartic enough, you’re even encouraged to tell the story behind your item when you send it in. (More museum stories.)
