The battle for Michael Jackson’s three children is heating up: Ex-wife Debbie Rowe is considering a custody bid, and another alleged ex-wife has come out of the woodwork. Rowe, who gave birth to the two oldest, has been in and out of their lives since 1999, and once said if Jackson died she would not want the children back, adding, “I am sure he has a wonderful person in mind to take care of them,” reports the Los Angeles Times.

However, Rowe also said that she would “never consent to such a thing” when reports surfaced a few years ago that Michael’s mother, Katherine, might adopt the children. Complicating the issue further is Nona Paris Lola Jackson, who claims to be the biological mother of all three children and is demanding custody—and Jackson’s entire estate, E! reports. Her hearing is set for August 19. (More Michael Jackson stories.)
