The Haitian National Police have apprehended a man believed to be the husband and father of the woman and five children found murdered Saturday in their Florida home, the Naples Daily News reports. Mesac Damas, who flew to Haiti Friday, is not officially a suspect in the case. He is apparently being held on a warrant issued after a January probation violation related to charges of suspicion of domestic violence against his wife, Guerline Damas, the oldest murder victim.
