Investigators are digging up property at a Missouri farm where an elderly man and his four sons have been charged in repeated sexual assaults of young relatives, according to officials. Police are searching for bodies, as well as buried glass jars containing handwritten notes by children detailing their abuse up to 15 years ago. Burrell Edward Mohler Sr. and his sons were arrested Tuesday and arraigned today.

Police descended on the home after reports from a victim who recalled being ordered to line up on a bed with other children to be assaulted, reports the Kansas City Star. The attacks were often preceded by fake "marriages" in which the girls were given white dresses and flowers, police said.
