"I'm begging you, please, bring me home," pleads an Idaho soldier in a new video released yesterday by his Taliban captors. Private Bowe Bergdahl, captured last summer in Afghanistan, talks of his love for his family, friends and sailing. "This war isn't worth the waste of human life that has cost both Afghanistan and the US. It's not worth the amount of lives that have been wasted in prisons," Bergdahl says in the grainy, 7-minute video.

Bergdahl is the only soldier known to be in Taliban captivity. US officials did not immediately confirm the authenticity of the video to AP. The Taliban produced another video of the captive soldier late last year.
