They're not afraid to share daughters' crushes

Move over, Brad Pitt and George Clooney—today's moms are lusting after a new generation of leading men ... or should we say boys? Women in their 30s and 40s aren't afraid to declare their love for Zac Efron, Justin Bieber, and their daughters' other dream guys, the Boston Globe reports. “I’m all about Edward," one mom says of Robert Pattinson's Twilight character.

So what's the deal with the cougar crushes? "There’s such a youth culture right now," says one professor. "There's this sense that the interests and concerns of the younger are everyone’s." It also allows the women to feel like kids again. Says a 40-plus mom who has a thing for Efron, 22: "The feelings I have when I see him, it’s like I’m back in high school, so it seems normal."
