The father of missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman has walked out on his wife, who has become the focus of a police investigation into her stepson's disappearance. Terri Horman was the last to see 7-year-old Kyron. She told police she dropped him off at his elementary school early this month, but he never arrived in his classroom. Her husband, Kaine, served her with a restraining order and divorce papers yesterday, reports People.

He and Kyron's biological mom said they are now limiting statements to the media so as not to interfere with the investigation. Police have questioned Terri Horman extensively following contradictory explanations about her whereabouts the day Kyron disappeared. Cell phone records show she made calls from an island near Kyron's school the day he vanished, and searchers have hunted for signs of the boy there.
