Seth MacFarlane is “a Hollywood liberal,” Rush Limbaugh acknowledges, but MacFarlane and the conservative king still get along swimmingly—as evidenced by Limbaugh’s upcoming guest stint on Family Guy. The episode, airing Sunday, features liberal family dog Brian intending to berate Limbaugh at a book signing, only to be rescued by Limbaugh—which causes him to become “more conservative than I am,” Limbaugh says.

“I didn’t do this for the money, I did this for the fun of it,” he continued on his radio show yesterday, going on to praise Family Guy for crossing the line “every night that it’s on,” Mediaite reports. Though some of his listeners are befuddled, Limbaugh seems pretty proud: “I come out looking like a champ on this thing,” he says, adding that he agrees with a listener who told him, “You’ve reached across the aisle more than the post-partisan Obama ever has.”
