Jay Leno thanked last night's guest, George W. Bush, for "all the material" over the past 10 years—only to find out that, awkward!, W. never actually watched the Tonight Show. "I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I was asleep," he explained to Leno. The two went on to discuss such important topics as Bush vs. Obama: Who is the better dancer? "President Obama," said Bush without hesitation, after watching clips of Obama dancing in India and himself dancing at a malaria awareness event.

The two laughed over other famous clips from Bush's time in the Oval Office, and of course talked about Decision Points, which Leno called "an easy read." In addition to a few serious topics of conversation (9/11, Saddam Hussein, Hurricane Katrina), Bush also weighed in on the 2012 election (he has no idea if Sarah Palin will run, but "my candidate is not going to run—my brother Jeb") and recalled how he used to sing the Yale fight song to put his twins to sleep, noting that it's "quite surprising to people that I could sing, or went to Yale." Watch the entire interview in the gallery.
