Grandma Charged With Tossing Tot to Death

A woman neighbors describe as a doting grandmother threw her 2-year-old granddaughter to her death from a mall walkway 6 stories high, police in Virginia say. Carmena Dela Rosa, 50, has been charged with murder, the Washington Post reports. Police say she was leaving a shopping mall with the girl and adult family members when she suddenly flung the girl over a railing. Law enforcement sources say there was no fight or argument before the tragedy.
