A group of deaf friends partying in a Florida bar were stabbed by three gangsters who mistook sign language for gang signs, reports the New York Daily News. A female customer thought the group's signs were actually gang signals, so she flashed gang signs back at them. After the deaf group indicated they wanted to be left alone, the woman left to get two gang members and they returned to stab the deaf friends. Five people, including a bar bouncer, were taken to the hospital for treatment of wounds, but police said the injuries aren't life-threatening. (More stabbing attack stories.)
