White-Hot Celtics Beat L.A.

It was retro night in Boston as the Celtics' Big Three were taking on the rival Lakers and fans wore "Beat L.A." shirts circa 1985. But rather than Bird, McHale and Parish, it was Garnett, Allen and Pierce who combined for 59 points and put up a 107-94 win. Arnold Schwarzenegger in attendance to cheer on LA couldn't prevent Boston from improving to 10-1. In other NBA action tonight:

  • San Antonio never trailed for the second straight game while improving to 8-0 with a 101-88 win over Memphis.
  • Danny Granger led Indiana with 25 points as the Pacers held off a comeback by the Dallas Mavericks to win by four.
  • Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade performed like it was old times and were solid in a Miami victory.
