Todd Palin was pretty peeved when Joe McGinniss moved in next door, and he's downright furious now that the author's book on his wife has been released, Politico reports. The Rogue—which accuses Sarah Palin of adultery and illegal drug use, among other things—"is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears," Palin told reporters, noting that even the New York Times has called the book "dated" and "petty."

McGinniss is "a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to harass us and spy on us. He traffics in innuendo and falsehoods," Todd said. "He's spent the last year interviewing marginal figures with an axe to grind in order to churn out a hit piece to satisfy his own creepy obsession with my wife. I'd ask that people consider these facts when evaluating his latest lies." (More Todd Palin stories.)
