The cop who apparently spun an Occupy Wall Street protester around and slugged him in the face, knocking him to the ground, is now under investigation. The New York Civilian Complaint Review Board is probing complaints against the officer identified as Deputy Inspector Johnny Cardona, whose actions last Friday were filmed by bystanders. "We have several ongoing investigations involving police interactions with protesters. That includes events that occurred on Friday. Those events were videotaped," a board spokeswoman told the Guardian. The news comes as the Occupy Wall Street movement marks its one month anniversary. (More Occupy Wall Street stories.)
