As the last Sandy Hook victims were laid to rest, the older brother of shooter Adam Lanza posted his own tribute to the tragedy, mourning the loss of two members of his family—or did he? The Lanza family claims that a Ryan Lanza Facebook page is a hoax, but the New York Post reports that Ryan wrote beneath a picture of mom Nancy Lanza: “RIP. I miss you mom. I love you so much. You will be always in my heart. -Ryan." He was no less effusive with his brother, writing under a photo of Adam Lanza, “RIP. I will miss you bro. I will always love you as long as I live."

The Post notes that though Ryan Lanza also paid tribute to his brother's victims ("You all will be truly be missed. God Bless.”), his posts stirred up some hate, with one person calling Adam Lanza "scum of the Earth." Responded Ryan Lanza: “I am so tired of people blaming me for something my brother did. I love Adam, (he's) my brother. ... But you have no right to call my brother names when he isn’t here no more. Just let my brother rest in peace. Please. Respect that.” "I am a victim,” Ryan Lanza tells the Post, adding that he lost "my mom and brother." (More Ryan Lanza stories.)
