Just to solidify your sinking perception that Congress is a lot like first grade, John Boehner is yelling at his membership about violating the House dress code: "Members should wear appropriate business attire during all sittings of the House, however brief your appearance on the floor might be. You know who you are," Boehner told lawmakers yesterday in a review of the rules. Lawmakers have gone to work in jeans and baseball caps, Politico notes, and Boehner, who has a reputation for dressing well, has made the comment before. "Looks like #sequester is already hitting wardrobes of Members of Congress," tweeted Rep. Justin Amash this week. "I saw ppl wearing jeans & khakis on House floor." (More John Boehner stories.)
