Bacon-filled iced tea wasn't exactly on the menu when Nicole Queen sat down for lunch at TGI Friday's. But Queen, a converted Muslim, says the wait staff in Garland, Texas, gave her a refill containing bacon bits—a food her religion forbids her from eating, USA Today reports. "I knew right away that it was bacon," she says, "and I knew right away that it had been placed in my straw because that was the first thing that went into my mouth."

Queen says she initially ordered Cobb salad without bacon, which seemed to put off the server. "Me and my friends were like, 'Let's be extra nice to him,' because maybe he’s not comfortable with us because we’re Muslim,'” she tells WFAA. But that apparently didn't work, because another server took over their table, and Queen was given the bacon-filled refill to go. Now TGI Friday's says it is "working with her" to investigate the incident: "We will take any appropriate actions necessary based on the findings." (More bacon stories.)
