You may want to start paying more attention to your fortune cookies. When Emma Duvoll cracked open her cookie from Sammy's Noodle Shop & Grill in Manhattan, the lucky numbers on her fortune "looked attractive," she says, so she played them in the Powerball. "I used to play other numbers," the great-grandmother tells CBS New York, "and I never won anything, so these looked just as good as any other." Sure enough, five of the six numbers rolled out during the drawing last month, snagging Duvoll, 75, a $2 million prize. "It’s unbelievable," she said yesterday after picking up her winnings, which she received as a one-time payment of $1,246,085 after taxes. "I plan to invest it and save it," she told the New York Daily News. "Maybe I’ll go see family in Switzerland." (More fortune cookie stories.)
