Authorities appear no closer to figuring out the source of those mysterious lasers dazzling pilots over New Jersey and New York even as more incidents are recorded. After pilots reported lasers hitting at least 11 planes last week, nine more flights have been affected, including four last night. Two of the flights were a few miles west of Warwick, NY, one was 20 miles south of Newark Liberty International, and one was 20 miles southwest of LaGuardia, reports WABC. All were under 7,500 feet. Fox News reports laser incidents have been popping up at "a record pace" this year with almost 2,000 as of May 15. (More New Jersey stories.)
