In taking a look at its own nation's obsession with coffee, Canada's CBC gives us the 10 nations that guzzle it the most, via stats from Euromonitor International. The winner, hands down, is the Netherlands, whose residents consume 260 liters per year. Here are the top 10, with liters converted to 8-ounce cups:

  1. Netherlands, 1,100 cups per person a year
  2. Finland, 781
  3. Canada, 643
  4. Sweden, 600
  5. Germany, 546
  6. Slovenia, 532
  7. Dominican Republic, 505
  8. Norway, 489
  9. United States, 487
  10. Slovakia, 469
