Instead of Breaking Into the House, They Broke the House
A tractor stands in front of a damaged house after it broke through the wall in Buende, Germany, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017.   (Nord-West-Media TV/dpa via AP)

So you want to break in to a house, but you don't know how to pick locks or bust windows. No problem. Just gain access to a tractor and bust down a wall. That's what a thief or group of thieves did in northwestern Germany Thursday morning, police say. The suspects left the tractor halfway inside the house, the AP reports; in exchange, they removed a safe from the house. Police won't say what was in the safe. The home's residents weren't harmed.
