Whether Sarah Huckabee Sanders runs for governor of Arkansas remains to be seen, but she may have at least one other project to keep her busy in the interim. Sources tell Mike Allen at Axios that, after taking some R&R time with her family in July, the former White House press secretary may be breaking out her laptop to pen a tome about her time at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Allen's sources tell him the book would be "an account of her life in politics and experience inside the Trump administration," one that she reportedly viewed as positive.
Sanders—who signed off Friday as press secretary "with my head held high"—is also said to be planning to assist with President Trump's re-election campaign. The potential run for governor in 2022 was first publicly suggested by Trump, and the Hill notes it's a suggestion Sanders may be carefully mulling, as current Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, must vacate his post due to term limits. (Read more Sarah Huckabee Sanders stories.)
