Sarah Sanders is returning to the public eye. The former White House press secretary is joining Fox News as a political analyst, the network announced. Her first appearance will be on Fox & Friends Sept. 6. Sanders served as press secretary from July 2017 through June of this year, though she made fewer and fewer appearances before reporters over time. In fact, the once-usual daily briefings effectively ended. Variety notes it's not unusual for former press secretaries to test the cable TV waters, and the Hollywood Reporter isn't surprised at all, given that dad Mike Huckabee already is a Fox contributor. (Sanders' White House predecessor, Sean Spicer, is back in the headlines himself, as a controversial pick for Dancing With the Stars.)
