While stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, have you had ample opportunity to ponder the meaning of life? Or, perchance, what might be in your butthole? If you've come up short on the latter, Jolee Dunn has some possible answers for you. The 8-year-old from Los Angeles has become an online star overnight after her mom, Lisa Rieffel-Dunn, posted a video of her daughter singing her latest quarantine ditty. The name of the song, as alluded to earlier: "I Wonder What's Inside Your Butthole." "I wonder what's inside your butthole / Maybe there is astronauts / Maybe there is aliens / All inside your butthole / What's inside your butthole? I always want to know," go Jolee's enthusiastic lyrics.

Rieffel-Dunn tells BuzzFeed the song came about as Jolee was trying to put off going to bed one night. "The one-leg pushed-up on the PJs are a tell-tale indicator that she's at the end of the line, way past bedtime, and really needs to sleep," says the amused mom, who appears to be a musician herself, as is Jolee's dad. Meanwhile, the internet has fallen in love with the little girl and her catchy tune. One songwriter, who says he and his 6-year-old watched Jolee's performance "like 50 times in a row," even created a remix of it. "With her guitar and a single existential question, this young musician created a song to unite and inspire beyond her generation," one commenter noted on Twitter. (More songs stories.)
