It's done: Congress certified Joe Biden's presidential election victory in the wee hours of Thursday, after the electoral vote count was interrupted Wednesday by a pro-Trump mob that breached the Capitol building, CNN reports. More than half of the lawmakers who originally planned to challenge Biden's electoral wins in certain states ultimately reversed course after the riot, the AP reports, and all the objections that were raised were voted down. The certification came 15 hours after the session began. (More Election 2020 stories.)
