One person was in a cable car Sunday in the Czech Republic when the cabin became detached and crashed to the ground, killing him. Fourteen people in the cabin traveling the opposite direction were rescued, the BBC reports. The accident took place on Mount Jested in Liberec, a popular tourist destination. The victim was a staff member, EuroNews reports. An investigation into what happened is underway. (More Czech Republic stories.)
