California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger travels on private jets and racks up six-figure trip expenses, thanks to the largesse of a shady nonprofit group whose secret donors get tax breaks, the LA Times reports. Watchdogs claim the 501(c)(3) is an abuse of a system intended to reward donations to needy causes.

Some critics say the nonprofit, one of several paying the multimillionaire governor's bills, could be brokering favor for its clients. It also deflects attention from the Governator's opulent travel—predecessor Gray Davis submitted his commercial airline bills directly to the public. "Wow, that's a problem," a charity expert says. "Why should our tax dollars subsidize his lavish lifestyle?" (More Arnold Schwarzenegger stories.)
