A Manhattan love triangle ended tragically when a jealous lover killed a woman and her second boyfriend before committing suicide, the Daily News reports. The bodies were found by police yesterday in a tony apartment on the city's Upper West Side, with the killer slumped in a chair, a 9-mm. handgun in his lap, according to cops.

The woman, 46, was believed to be a cellist and her murdered boyfriend, 57, an actor, who has appeared in movies and on stage. One neighbor reported loud bangs and a scream to the doorman, who eventually called police, but other residents were not alarmed by the sounds. “You hear a lot of pop-pops" here, and "they’re not always a triple homicide,” a neighbor told the New York Times.
