Women don’t like Rush Limbaugh, and he wants to know why. A new poll shows that the radio host has a 49% disapproval rating among women—with only 37% favorable—so he held a “female summit” on his show yesterday, inviting women callers of all political stripes to tell him what he’s doing wrong. “I own the men, and what must I do now to own women?” he asked. And women answered.

Women called in to tell Rush he was pompous (“Irrelevant, the woman’s never listened”), that he should be more vulnerable (“You’re trying to emasculate me here”), and that he should drop terms like “infobabe” (“It's creative and it's artistic, and it is a signature term”). In the end, Rush concluded that women change their mind about him when men lead them to the show. “Which means something I have always known, that women do want to please their men.” (More Rush Limbaugh stories.)
