Mexico finally has some good news in its violent drug war. Police arrested the No. 2 leader of one of the nation's largest drug cartels, the Los Angeles Times reports. Vicente Carrillo Leyva, 32, had been one of Mexico's most wanted criminals. He's part of a new wave of youthful, college-educated drug lords known as narcojuniors. Authorities nabbed him as he exercised in an Abercrombie sweat suit.

The arrest came as US Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano met with officials in Mexico City to discuss curtailing the flow of guns and money south. Though Leyva has been caught, his uncle, known as “the Viceroy,” is still in charge of a cartel party to the Juarez drug war that took 1,600 lives there last year. The leader of the rival Sinaloa cartel is public enemy No. 1. (More Mexico stories.)
