A US Airways flight to Los Angeles had to be diverted to Albuquerque this evening after a passenger removed all of his clothing mid-flight, forcing flight attendants to cover him with a blanket before he was arrested. The man became combative and had to be handcuffed with the help of two off-duty officers on board.

When the plane took off again, the pilot's request to fasten seat belts included "a reminder to everybody to please keep your clothing on," said one passenger. Authorities haven't released a motive for the stripper, a 50-year-old Bronx man, but they suspect he was either drunk or on prescription drugs.
