(AP Photo) President Obama took some heat today in New Orleans for continued slow progress in rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina, but perhaps the most pointed question he got all day came from a 9-year-old. “Why do people hate you?” Tyren Scott asked Obama, microphone in hand, during a public meeting. “They’re supposed to love you. God is love.” The president looked “tickled” by the question, AFP notes, and replied, “Hey, that's what I'm talking about. … I did get elected president, so not everybody hates me now. I got a whole lot of votes.” Added Obama, “If you were watching TV lately, it seems like everybody's just getting mad all the time.
