A Las Vegas judge set bail at $125,000 for OJ Simpson today on 11 counts issuing from his hotel altercation with sports collectors. The former football star entered no plea at today's hearing and was ordered to surrender his passport, the Los Angeles Times reports. His lawyer said Simpson will return to his Florida home as soon as possible.

The 60-year-old could face life on the charges from last week's incident, which include kidnapping and robbery with a deadly weapon. Simpson was dressed in a dark prison uniform and handcuffs at today's court date; outside the court, the circus atmosphere that has often accompanied Simpson ruled, with bystanders hawking T-shirts emblazoned with the newest OJ mug shot.
