If there was any doubt that Sarah Palin was planning a presidential run, it pretty much evaporated in Reno yesterday, when she told a Tea Party rally, “We can see 2012 from our house.” (And yes, that’s a reference to the widely-quoted SNL skit making fun of her.) The remark came as Palin kicked off a 15-day, coast-to-coast Tea Party Express tour, the AP reports.

Palin used the Reno stop both to praise Nevada candidate Sharron Angle and to needle the Republican Party establishment. “The big wigs within the machine, they are driving me crazy, because they are too chicken to come out and support the Tea Party candidates,” Palin said. “Some of you need to man up and spend some political capital to support the Tea Party candidates.” (Is it just us, or have we been hearing a lot of this "man up" stuff lately? It's not just us? Oh good.)
