Eric Gordon continued his remarkable freshman campaign by scoring 29 points in No. 15 Indiana’s 83-79 victory over Georgia Tech. The Hoosiers played poorly for stretches but took the lead for good with 7:20 left in the game. It was their 21st straight regular-season win at Assembly Hall. Lewis Clinch scored 18 points for the Yellow Jackets in the loss, reports the AP.

Elsewhere around the nation:

  • A 20-3 first-half run made the contest between No. 14 Pittsburgh and Boston University a laugher as the Panthers cruised to an 80-53 victory to remain unbeaten. Ronald Ramon was 5-for-5 from three-point range for Pitt.
  • Chris Lofton scored 24 points to lead No. 11 Tennessee to a 93-59 win over North Carolina A&T.
