Dwight Howard scored a career high 39 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Magic to a 110-94 win over the Supersonics. The Magic have an NBA-best 14 wins while the Sonics have lost six straight and are off to a franchise worst 2-14 start.

Elsewhere around the league:

  • Monta Ellis had 22 and Stephen Jackson had 21 to carry the Warriors past the Kings 103-96.
  • Jamal Tinsley was just 4-16, but hit a late jumper to seal the deal in a 95-89 Pacers victory over the Trail Blazers.
