Apparently Connor Cruise takes football very, very seriously: A tweeted joke from one of his former reps after the Super Bowl led Tom Cruise's only son to lash out via text, and may even have led to a split with the rep. It all started when Todd Krim tweeted to Connor, Patriots fan extraordinaire, "Sorry @TheConnorCruise maybe next year!!!" Connor's response, sent via text to Krim, was perhaps a bit of an overreaction: "That was a gay ass [bleeping] tweet . . . U don’t say [bleep] like that about my team the second they lose. Low."
Krim promptly took a picture of the text and sent it out to publicists, along with a note explaining that he no longer works with Connor and wanted to make sure they know what they're "dealing with." He also replied to Connor, explaining that he was joking, to which the teen responded: "That was [bleeped]" and "Idgaf" (The New York Post helpfully explains that this means, "I don’t give a [bleep].") Though Krim (who used to book gigs for the 17-year-old, who is apparently a DJ) says the incident led them to part ways, sources close to Cruise say they actually split weeks beforehand.
