A group of nuns in suburban Chicago aren't happy about their naughty new neighbors. A huge strip club is being built next door to the sisters' convent complex, which includes a home for elderly nuns and one for young nuns-to-be, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. The nuns complain that they had no chance to challenge the city's approval of the club because notifications were sent to the wrong address. "Personally, I believe they never gave it to us because they knew they were going to have a negative response to it," one nun tells Fox.

The club's owner—who describes the establishment as a "gentlemen's cabaret"—says he has taken steps to limit light and noise coming from the club, and he plans to do his best to be a good neighbor to the nuns. "We did get a dialogue going with them, and I think that they see we do good things for the community," he said. The nuns' land straddles the border of two suburbs. The mayor of the one that didn't approve the club says he is a devout Catholic who will do his best to block the club's opening. (More Illinois stories.)
