Jon Stewart took a week off from the Daily Show, and in that time, the nation managed to hand Rick Santorum three primary victories. "What the hell, America?" Stewart asked last night. "I leave you alone for one week. One week!" And it wasn't just Santorum's transition to frontrunner that Stewart missed: He also had to get caught up on the White House vs. the Catholic Church fight over birth control. Fortunately, that fight is already over, thanks to President Obama's compromise—right? Wrong.

Santorum's reaction: "This is simply someone trying to impose their values on somebody else with the arm of the government." Stewart took issue with that statement, considering that Santorum is all for imposing his God's values on other people. "Got it. So, in the American system of government, you're saying we should all be free to live by Christian law," Stewart said. Watch the clip to see Stewart acting out the "f***ing chaos" that would ensue if every employer was allowed to exempt itself from health care requirements. (More Jon Stewart stories.)
