We've already heard that Moammar Gadhafi liked sleeping with four or five women a day, but a new book claims that he would kidnap schoolgirls and rape them between reading his emails, the Daily Mail reports. In Prey: In Gadhafi's Harem by French reporter Annick Cojean, a girl named Soraya describes how Gadhafi selected her on a visit to her school and had her brought to him. She was given "sex lessons" by a harem leader, then raped, beaten, and urinated on by the former Libyan leader for five years.

Soraya also says she was told to "watch and learn" as another girl performed oral sex on Gadhafi and was given pornographic films as "homework." When he tired of girls, Gadhafi would rape boys, sometimes with Soraya watching. Gadhafi's female victims suffer to this day, the book says, because their families have rejected them for having sex before marriage. Soraya even fears that her brothers might "wipe away the shame" by murdering her. "For Gadhafi, rape was a weapon," says Cojean—a means of dominating women, "but also men, by possessing their wives and daughters." (More Moammar Gadhafi stories.)
