With opinions flying left and right about Rihanna's apparent reunion with Chris Brown, there's at least commentator keeping cool: Oprah. The iconic interviewer said she's not going to slam the 24-year-old "We Found Love" singer for hooking up with her violent ex, Us reports. "I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it," said Winfrey. "I have no judgment about it. ... If that's how you choose to lead your life, that's really okay."

Oprah recalled interviewing Rihanna for an August episode of Oprah's Next Chapter, when Rihanna opened up about her feelings for Brown. "We love each other and we probably always will, and that's not anything that we're going to try to change," said Rihanna. "I think he was the love of my life." Rihanna also revealed that her dad had physically abused her mom. Rihanna "learned a lesson," Oprah said, "that she was repeating with Chris Brown exactly what she needed to learn from her father."
