The National Enquirer claims to have a big scoop: Whitney Houston was murdered. It spoke to former Chicago cop/California private eye Paul Huebl, who says there is evidence that just such a crime occurred. "Knowledgeable" sources told him that Houston was done in by "high-powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs"—and that the two killers were captured by the Beverly Hilton's video surveillance. He plans to take his evidence, which currently does not include said killers' identities, to the FBI.

Huebl tells the Daily Mail that Houston's body "shows classic defense wounds that [could] have occurred while she was battling for her life" and that he has evidence her room was ransacked. The Mail adds that Houston's alleged debt was rumored to be $1.5 million. (More Whitney Houston stories.)
